Dr Mir Aman Khan, MBBS, FRCS, FRCEM, works as a consultant in Accident and Emergency department of an NHS hospital. He graduated from Khyber Medical College Peshawar (MBBS) and got his Fellowship in Surgery and Emergency Medicine from College of Surgeons (FRCS, FRCEM).
He served as the secretary of KMA-UK (Khyber Medical Association) for two years and has been involved in community work. He has supported AIMS International for a long time.
He is involved in teaching on ATLS courses and is part of the academic team of his department. He is the Training Programme Director for SAS Emergency doctors of Cambridge Deanery. He is keen to teach Management of Trauma in overseas hospitals so they can improve the trauma services.
